Eileen HillEileen Hill received her Bachelor's degree in Art from San Francisco State University in 1971, and her Master's of Arts degree from San José State University in 1976. In addition, she has studied Printmaking at Kayla Institute, Berkeley, California.She has exhibited widely in the United States, including the San José Museum of Art, the State University of New York, Kohler Art Center in Wisconsin, and the Crocker Museum in Sacramento, California. She is also included in corporate collections in San José and the San Francisco Bay area, including Apple Computer World Headquarters, Silicon Graphics, Prometheus Development Corporation, and Battenberg, Fillhardt & Wright Advertising. The Artist says: "I have always been interested in atmospheres of places, people, or peri-ods of time, and have never been interested in exploring what things look like. I choose materials somewhat randomly: paint, metal, ink, paper, and wood are the common thread that seems to run through my work of the last twenty years reflects the need to put things together: collage, Chine Colle prints, Assemblage."
